We systematically dismantled the pieces that compose the « ink pump » of our Epson Printer.
Through each step of this critical dismantling, we tried to produce relevant observations from what we had under our eyes. This operation consist in an attempt to interpret what we find in the entrails of machines we cohabit with: it is a form of technological haruspicine.
How does this « ink pump » works? How can we interpret the inscriptions that are written on its surface? How can this technical object tell us on the world we live in?
