Free-Floating is an exhibition that redraws the investigation that was conducted around free-floating e-scooters in Paris. Through the use of a large variety of visual strategies, we tried to better « get to know » this vehicule that recently appeared in our urban landscape.
Through magnet fishing we pulled out several submerged e-scooters carcass. We examined and dismantled this vehicule through a technological haruspicine. We mapped the software functioning mode of this connected object. We set a typology of the different parking situations of this new kind of scooter. We drew a micro-mobility tarot card deck.
Free-Floating introduces the idea of a « polyphonic investigation » in which each artwork can be considered as an entry point leading to the complex world of e-scooters.
